Classes are taught by Katarina Tyson Wallace who has a combined total of over 20 years of dance, fitness, and martial arts experience. Move It with Kat's fitness classes suit both a fitness "beginner" and a fitness junkie. These classes will get you sweating, smiling, and shaking to the beat.
Zumba ® is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — and resistance training. In a one-hour Zumba class you can burn between 450 and 800 calories depending on variables such as weight, intensity of workout etc.
Zumba provides great cardio benefits while still keeping things fun. A Zumba class feels more like party than a workout but boy does it ever give you a full body workout..
